AGENT-F

Agent-F is a two-part reactive polymer compound developed for use in real-world explosive hazard mitigation operations, where rapid mechanical stabilization of sensitive components is required. The material has been fielded in operational environments, including Ukraine, in support of explosive ordnance disposal and clearance activities, and was developed with support from IDEaS (Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security). Upon deployment, Agent-F expands and conforms to internal geometries, forming a rigid encapsulation that restricts movement and reduces the likelihood of unintended activation during handling, transport, or render-safe procedures. Its predictable curing behavior, compatibility with remote application methods, and effectiveness in austere conditions make it well suited for use in landmine and unexploded ordnance mitigation efforts where speed, reliability, and operator safety are critical.
