Night Watch is an unmanned, remotely operated legged ground platform designed to support force-on-force training, tactical rehearsal, and threat simulation in complex operational environments. Built as a quadrupedal robotic system, it replicates the movement, profile, and engagement behavior of a living being or semi-autonomous ground threat, enabling soldiers to train against a mobile, reactive target rather than static or scripted systems. The platform is capable of carrying a mounted training weapon or simulated payload, allowing it to replicate hostile or unknown-force behavior during live exercises. Night Watch can be operated manually or through preprogrammed movement patterns, supporting indoor and outdoor environments, low-light conditions, and uneven terrain. Its modular architecture allows for mission-specific configurations, sensor integration, and rapid reset between training iterations, making it well-suited for close-quarters training, force protection drills, and autonomous systems evaluation.
